Inserting a text in the document: 1. After opening a new word document, Click your mouse on the blinking cursor and type your text using the keyboard. 2. In order to provide space between texts, hit the space bar (once) which is next to the ALT key in the keyboard. 3. To insert text anywhere in the text area, move your mouse to where you want to insert the text, double-click your mouse to get your flashing cursor, and then type your text. Deleting text in the document: 1. On the keyboard, there are two keys that can be used to delete text, the Backspace key and the Delete key. See picture below. 2. The Backspace key deletes text to the LEFT of your flashing cursor, one character deleted for each stroke of the key. 3. The Delete key deletes text to the RIGHT of your flashing cursor, one character deleted for each stroke of the key. 4. By using these two keys, you can delete text in the document. |
